Herbal Time Henna Hair Dye is a natural way to color your hair without damaging it—making it a great choice for those who are allergic or sensitive to regular hair dyes. The cream contains no ammonia, PPD, PTD, or hydrogen peroxide—the substances that cause most hair dye allergies—and is based on henna (Lawsonia inermis) and extract of colorless henna (Cassia fistula), supplemented with nettle extract, vitamin F, olive oil, and castor oil.

That "no ammonia" feature is exactly what differentiates it from oxidative hair dye or powder henna: those actually break down the hair structure to lock in the color. This cream does the opposite—with long-term use, it strengthens and conditions the hair instead of damaging it.

The product is suitable for independent coloring, for maintaining color between two oxidative color treatments, or for adding highlights. There is no bleaching effect; therefore, you will not achieve a lighter color than your natural hair, but you will get up to 80% coverage of gray hair and a tone-on-tone result or a maximum of one shade darker.

Instructions for use

Wash hair beforehand, leave it slightly damp, apply the cream using a comb and brush, and let it process according to the color chart: Silver Blond 30 min, Cappuccino 45 min, Copper Red 40 min, Fire Red 40 min, Aubergine 40 min, Morello 40 min, Chestnut 45 min, Chocolate 40 min, Natural Brown 45 min, Natural Black 90 min on natural blond hair. On gray, bleached, or light/dark brown hair, the time increases up to 120 minutes for Natural Black — the full table is on the packaging. For stubborn gray roots, double the time in those areas. Then rinse thoroughly with warm water until the water runs clear; only for Chocolate and Natural Black is it advisable to wash once with shampoo, as these shades are the most intense.

Safety

Always perform a sensitivity test 48 hours in advance: on a (clean) area in the crook of the elbow. Do not use the product for eyebrows or eyelashes, do not use under the age of 16, and do not use if you have a rash, or a sensitive, irritated, or damaged scalp. Avoid contact with the eyes and rinse immediately with plenty of water if contact occurs. If you have previously had an allergic reaction to a temporary "black henna" tattoo, do not use the product.
