Mediskin works with urea, the substance your skin produces itself to retain moisture. With dry skin, this supply runs out, causing you to lose moisture more and more quickly. Urea in a cream replenishes this and binds water in the top layer of the skin.
This set contains the three products from the line, each tailored to where you use them. The 200 ml body cream contains 10% urea and a protective layer against moisture loss, with panthenol and vitamin E. The 75 ml hand cream contains 5% urea with coconut, olive, and sunflower oil and is fast-absorbing. The 75 ml foot cream contains 5% urea with allantoin, which softens calluses and rough patches.
Mediskin is developed for those who need to pay more attention to their skin than average, and is therefore also suitable for people with diabetes. Diabetic skin dries out faster and recovers more slowly, causing small cracks to remain open longer. Applying it daily keeps the skin supple and prevents it from reaching that point.
